Chuck’s practice principally includes first and third party coverage matters. Prior to entering private practice, he spent ten years with the General Counsel's office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, focusing on fisheries management, habitat protection, and marine pollution, particularly natural resource damage claims. In private practice, his practice now focuses on insurance coverage counseling and litigation with an emphasis on environmental claims and the defense of alleged bad faith insurer conduct. Chuck also has litigation experience against the federal government regarding compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act.
