Experience:
Mr.
Meade has extensive trial experience. He spent the first ten
years of his career at a large Tacoma law firm where he tried several
cases to verdict, including commercial, construction defect, consumer
protection, products liability and personal injury claims.
Most recently, Mr. Meade prevailed at the Washington Supreme Court
after eleven years of litigation in holding an EIFS (synthetic stucco)
manufacturer liable for its defective synthetic stucco siding
product. Mr. Meade was forced to re-try the case because
key documents were withheld by the EIFS manufacturer before the first
trial. This case is published at Kurtis Mayer v.
Sto Industries, Inc., 156 Wn.2d 677 (2006). He
joined Forsberg & Umlauf, P.S. in 2003.
